It is a large responsibility to be entrusted by our clients to first come up with the vision for their backyard, then see it through to completion. You are making a large investment into your property, and we do not take that fact lightly. You have a right to know what is happening, the approximate schedule for development, and the reasons why things are installing in the manner they are.

The way our company is structured, the designer is in complete control of the project from its inception until the final detail is completed. Only the original designer knows the original intention of each project element, and how those elements work together for the final solution. In many other companies, the designer is there to sell the job, then the project is passed off to the construction superintendent, who very rarely knows why things are placed where they are. This lack of communication is devastating to many potentially incredible projects. On our overall design and development jobs, the designer is on site almost every day. And when he is not, the construction supervisor knows to call the designer out or ask specific questions when the need arises and a decision has to be made about the project.

It is also the designers job to keep you, the client, informed. If things are going according to plan, we make sure that you know things are on schedule. If there is a delay or problem with the job, our design staff is charged with letting you know at the earliest possible moment and is ready to offer alternative suggestions on how to proceed. No project is perfect, but the problems almost always come out of poor communication between client and contractor. We make every effort to avoid that communication gap.
