Our Team

The J. Brownlee Design & Construction Team

Now that you have learned about our copmany philosophy and our design and construction processes, I would like to introduce you to our professional design and construction team members. We take pride in the fact that each member of our team, whether a direct employee or trusted sub-contract specialist, is an expert in his field, is excited about your project, and is a person you will enjoy working with both personally and professionally. So please take a few minutes to 'meet' each person you will encounter during the course of your project development.

Jason Brownlee

Jason is the founder and president of J.Brownlee Design and Brownlee Develoment, Inc. He was born and raised in Memphis, graduated from ECS High School, and earned a degree in Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University. After graduation, Jason spent 5 years in the professional practice / commercial design field, but found his true passion in creative design solutions for residential clients. So in the spring of 2002, Jason founded J.Brownlee Design. What began as a design and project management company quickly expanded into the full service development of his custom design solutions.

Jason is a licensed Landscape Architect in the state of Tennessee. He also serves as the chairman of the Municipal Planning Commission for the City of Lakeland, Tennessee. Jason has been married for 10 years to his wife, Jennifer, and they have three children, Morgan, Blake, and Alexa. They are all active members at Faith Baptist Church in the Bartlett area.

Chris Grimes

Chris is the Vice-President of J.Brownlee Design and Brownlee Development, Inc. He is also the project manager in charge of all custom pool and hardscape construction projects. Chris is a graduate of the Randall Acadamy, and has over 12 years of experience in the exterior construction and development industry. Chris owned and operated his own construction company prior to joining with Jason to complete the full design and development services currently offered.

Chris has been married to his wife, Amy for 9 years. They have two children, Tanner and Ally. They are members at Longwood Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi.

Nate Ladd

Nate is our construction superintendant for all pool and hardscape development projects. He is a graduate of Harding Academy, and has over 6 years of specialized construction experience, specifically working with development of gunite pool shell development.

Masonry Construction Crew

Our in-house masonry constrution crew consists of four integral team members.

Keith Burford - Electrician

Keith is a the owner of Burford Electric Company, and is our licensced, bonded, and insured electrical sub-contractor.

Mike Morris - Plumbing / Pool Service

Kevin Baltz - Concrete
